Missing is a very common feeling to humans and animals. In
fact, we face it everyday. Missing someone who died, missing someone who we
broke up with, or even missing someone who went to work. But can you sit and do
nothing about it? Wouldn’t you text or call the person you miss, if you could?
Lately I’ve realized that sometimes, missing someone is a
pleasuring feeling. It means that you care about the person and feel the need
to communicate or be in contact with. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have
to stop missing them. Meaning, missing someone is not a sorrow feeling. You don’t
have to listen to Adele and yowl all day long. You can be happy about it,
because you miss that person. Well, no one is going to dance around town and
shout hallelujah for missing that person. But at least, don’t cry over it.
Sometimes, having some time off each other can be a good
thing. For example; if a grain of sand was on my hand. And if I tried to
squeeze it, it would leak through the space of my fingers and it’ll be gone.
But if I just lay my hand without putting pressure or pushing, the sand will
just be there, lying on my hand. You don’t have to text or call right away, when
you feel that you need to. Time apart each other is always good, it makes the
relationship grows stronger, or in some cases it eases the pain. When you don’t
make any action towards the feeling of missing, it makes you stronger and
calmer. It gives you time to think about yourself, and who you are without that
person.
In conclusion, just enjoy the ride and cherish everything
that has been given and happened to you. Because everything happens for a
reasonJ
